Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty, an actor, was born on the 1st of October, 1995 in Berkeley, California. She is an acclaimed actress who was on Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that includes actors and directors, pursued both professions. When she was nine she made her feature film debut with Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. She played the leading role in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) and appeared as part of Michele Soavi's 1989 film The Church. Later in the year, she was Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon (1989) (also directed by Moretti). It was with Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she was able to transition from portraying very young girls into more mature, complex characters. It was received well in the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma was her first film made with her father. The mother of her, Daria Nicoledi, is Argento's favorite actress. in Trauma she played an anorexic searching for her parents' murderer. The Phantom of the Opera is her third film alongside her dad. The others are Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato A Nozze showcased Asia's absorbed way that she exhibited in her acting. In 1993, she appeared as Arianna in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista. It was a character so complex that she won the David di Donatello prize for the best actress. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot for which she also played an important part. In 1995, Asia collaborated with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she was awarded a David di Donatello. Asia began directing for profession in 1994. Her first short film was Prospettive. A documentary she created about her dad followed by Abel/Asia (1998), a film that won a prize during the Rome Film Festival and was both produced between 1996 and 1998. Asia began directing her first feature film in 1999 with Scarlet Diva (2000). The film also featured her as the principal performer, as well as the creator for the screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 both in Italy, and throughout the rest the world. It won an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York. In 2001, after directing numerous music videos the actress gave birth to her first daughter, Anna Lou. The year 2002 saw Asia in The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thrille directed with Vin Diesel. Asia's short stories have also been featured in prestigious publications.
